After more than two years of teamwork with colleagues, customers and partners, it’s official: our brand-new Mengibar filling line is running at full speed. The first test runs are now behind us, and the line is fully operational and running as part of our regular production. An important milestone for Kompak.
A milestone that didn’t happen overnight
Setting up a new filling line doesn’t happen from one day to the next. This project is the result of more than two years of preparation, engineering and collaboration between different departments, customers and partners. From engineering to planning, and from installation to the first test runs: a tremendous amount of work has gone into making this moment possible. An achievement the entire Kompak team can be proud of.
What does the new Mengibar filling line bring?
The new line is equipped with 24 filling heads and 8 capping heads, resulting in a significant increase in filling speed and capacity compared to our existing installations. In addition, a Posimat bottle unscrambler has been integrated, automatically untangling bottles and feeding them into the correct position for the filling line — an important step in the further automation of the process.
