At Kompak, we believe it’s important to get to know the people behind our success. Today, we’d like to introduce you to Arkadiusz, one of our Lead Operators in the Mixing department.
How did you end up at Kompak?
“Thirteen years ago, I came to the Netherlands and worked at Kompak for a few weeks. I already thought it was a modern and pleasant employer. Later, I heard through a friend that they were looking for new employees, and I didn’t have to think twice. That’s how I started working at Kompak again.”
What’s your role and what do you enjoy most about it?
“I’m currently one of the Lead Operators in the Mixing department. The best part of my role is seeing everything running smoothly and everyone knowing what to do. That’s when I know my job is well done.”
What are you most proud of?
“When everything goes as it should and there are no problems. That gives me a really good feeling.”
What does your team look like?
“I work with a team of new colleagues who are gaining a lot of experience. We have a great atmosphere, joke around a lot, and help each other out. Of course, I also carry out my tasks independently, but I always know I can count on my team.”
What makes your work and team so special?
“The great atmosphere. Everyone looks out for each other, checks in on each other, and offers help where needed. Because we spend a large part of the day together, I think it’s important to always be helpful. That really makes all the difference.”
How do you feel valued at Kompak?
“My promotion from Mixing Operator to Lead Operator is the greatest sign of appreciation for me. Kompak also shows that our hard work is recognized, for example, through the occasional vouchers.”
Why did you choose Kompak at the time?
“It’s a modern organization with a lot of potential, plenty of opportunities for growth, and a great atmosphere created by the people themselves.”
What surprised you about working at Kompak?
“That there are new opportunities for growth every day. By performing different tasks, helping each other, and demonstrating your value, you continuously develop yourself.”
How would you describe Kompak to someone who doesn’t know us yet?
“Kompak is developing rapidly, and this is the perfect time to join. There are clear plans for the future, and everyone gets opportunities for personal development, for example, by taking courses. It’s a truly great time to join us.”
